Quickguide for Epi-Care 3000

 1. Unpacking

When you open the package, you will find the sensor, an adapter, Epi-Care 3000, a user guide, as well as a set of safety pins and double-sided tape.

2. Connect the sensor and power on Epi-Care 3000

Connect the sensor to one of the sensor ports on the back of the control unit.
Then connect power to Epi-Care 3000. The unit starts automatically.

3. Test and adjust Epi-Care 3000

Fasten the sensor to the mattress and trigger an alarm by shaking the mattress with short, quick movements.
Adjust the sensitivity until you find a suitable setting.

4. Fasten the sensor to the bed

Use safety pins and strong tape to fasten the sensor to the mattress.
Place it so that it interferes with sleep as little as possible and close to the person’s tremor point.

5. Connect a call system or pager

If the caregiver is more than 10 metres away from Epi-Care 3000, a call system or pager should always be connected. Use the AUX port.
